X: Build in Public

Yes! The Build in Public community on X (formerly Twitter) is a group of founders, indie hackers, and creators who share their startup journey openly. They post about their successes, failures, lessons learned, and progress while building their projects. The idea is to get feedback, attract early users, and connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs.

It’s a great place to:

• Share updates on your SaaS, apps, or side projects
• Get feedback from other builders
• Network with potential users and investors
• Learn from others’ experiences

Since you’re developing AI applications, SaaS, and other digital products, you’d probably fit right into that space! Are you considering engaging more with the Build in Public community, or are you already active there? 🚀

Awesome! Since you’re active in the Build in Public community, here’s what makes a great post that gets engagement and adds value:

Key Elements of a Good Build in Public Post

1. Authenticity & Transparency – Be real. Share wins, struggles, and lessons learned. The community appreciates honesty over polished marketing speak.

2. Actionable Insights – Instead of just saying “I launched X,” add insights like “Here’s what worked & what didn’t.” Share lessons others can apply to their own journey.

3. Engaging Hooks – Start with something that grabs attention:

• “I just made my first $100 online! Here’s how…”
• “I thought this feature would be a hit. It flopped. Here’s why…”
• “I built [X] in 48 hours. Here’s what I learned.”

4. Visuals & Progress Screenshots – Mockups, dashboards, revenue updates, or even whiteboard sketches make your post more engaging. People love seeing behind-the-scenes snapshots.

5. Ask for Feedback or Opinions – Instead of just stating what you did, invite engagement:

• “Does this pricing make sense to you?”
• “Would you pay for this feature?”
• “Which logo do you like better?”

6. Milestone Celebrations – Sharing wins (small or big) brings positivity & engagement:

• “Hit 100 users today! Grateful for the support. On to 1,000 🚀”
• “Launched my MVP after 3 months. Scared but excited!”

7. Consistency – Posting regularly keeps you top-of-mind. Even small updates work:

• “Spent 3 hours debugging this issue. Turns out, it was a missing semicolon. 🤦‍♂️”

Bonus: Good Post Formula

📌 Hook → Story/Context → Insight → Call to Action (Engagement/Feedback)
